Our marketing team engaged cross-functional teams with the objective of presenting a business case for transitioning the NUK website from a catalog to a Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) platform. Leadership tasked the Business Unit (BU) with achieving a specific site traffic goal to validate the business case. In support of the content initiative aimed at boosting organic traffic, Brand Activation provided a wish list comprising approximately 20 ideas. We subsequently narrowed down and prioritized topics that we believed had the greatest impact on site traffic and are feasible for in-house production.

FROM BREAST TO BOTTLE TO CUP: THE RIGHT CUPS FOR YOUR BABY

This video serves as an informal explainer from a trusted mom expert, focusing on the transitions from breastfeeding or bottle-feeding to using a cup.

This approach proves particularly valuable for first-time parents seeking insight into the various feeding stages for themselves and their children. It showcases a range of NUK bottles and cups, offering quick comparisons and details on how babies drink from them.

The tone throughout remains casual yet informative. To infuse a sense of light-heartedness and enjoyment, the video includes footage of babies demonstrating various (and imaginative!) ways of drinking from their bottles and cups.

WHY DO PARENTS AND BABIES LOVE NUK PACIFIERS? 

Statistically speaking, first-time parents often seek advice from fellow parents when choosing products for their children, this approach was intentionally selected. This video offers a laid-back perspective from parents discussing why they believe NUK pacifiers stand out.

The testimonials were filmed in their homes, a choice made during the COVID-19 pandemic, lending authenticity to the testimonial style. We retained the original voiceovers to maintain a casual tone and avoid sounding rehearsed.

Including babies in the footage showcased their attachment to the pacifiers and emphasized the genuine connection between parent and child. The aim of the approach was to foster a relaxed atmosphere, similar to naturally conversing with other parents.

CLEANING GUIDE: HOW TO CLEAN PACIFIERS, SIPPY CUPS AND BABY BOTTLES

It may surprise you how many new parents are unsure about the proper way to wash baby bottles. The purpose of this video was to educate viewers on how to sanitize their NUK products while inducing a sense of calm and relaxation through ASMR. We carefully selected clips that emphasize sound and touch to create this soothing atmosphere.

There are three methods for sanitizing: boiling, hand washing, and using a dishwasher. We captured close-up shots of water boiling, soap lathering, water dripping, and other related activities, focusing on the sounds associated with each.

The overall mood is light, clean, and airy. Parenting life can be chaotic, so we wanted to introduce a sense of calm and zen-like environment to a chore that is typically not a favorite among parents.

To add a heartwarming touch, we've included footage of a baby drinking from one of the products at the end, evoking warm and fuzzy feelings.
